Summer Kindermusik Classes
Welcome to Grow and Sing Studios! We are bursting with excitement as we open enrollment for our 20th Summer of Music. Two decades of amazing musical summer enrichment! During the Summers we merge our class levels to Kindermusik Mixed Age classes for all ages and Kindermusik Foundations classes for babies for a fun-filled 8 week session. This is a tried and true program which makes it easy for families with more than one child to attend, since they are out of school for the Summer. Descriptions for both are below.

Summer Pricing
Fees include tuition for 8 classes plus home materials (digital music, plus physical take home book and movement scarf). It’s Summer which is a time to travel for a lot of us. If you are traveling and need to miss a class or two, we are happy to pro-rate your Summer tuition up to 2 classes. Payment for a minimum of 6 classes is required. In order to be pro-rated be sure to select that when you register.

Kindermusik Mixed Age – Summer
Class Length: 45 minute class with caregiver
Class Schedule: 8 week session (see calendar at bottom of page)
Our mixed-age classes are perfect for families with children of any age between newborn and 7. These classes allow infants through seven-year-olds—and their caregivers—to gather together for a fun-filled learning experience. Your Kindermusik educators will help you modify movement activities, group dances, and instrument-play activities so all children can enjoy at their developmental stage. Mixed-age classes offer the perfect setting for weekly family bonding time and inspire ideas for more music exploration, play, and more fun at home. If your child isn’t yet walking, and there are no older siblings attending, we recommend our Kindermusik Foundations class.
This 8 week Summer (2024) we present:Kindermusik Make Believe & Wild Animal Park
First, let’s Make Believe! Where can you go to see pirates, castles, dragons, dinosaurs, and more . . . all in one place? That’s easy—your imagination! Climb aboard the S.S. Pretend and set sail to imaginary places in the land of Make Believe. You will dance the pirate’s treasure dance, visit Royal Island and the castle of a king and queen, and even meet a friendly dragon. Then let’s take a trip to the Wild Animal Park! We’ll slither like snakes and pounce like leopards, encounter tiny tree frogs and enormous elephants, and visit amazing habitats that are high and low, hot and cold, dry and rainy. Then, it’s time for the animals’ favorite activity, which they all do together. It’s the jungle hokey-pokey!
Kindermusik Foundations – Summer
Class Length: 45 minute class with caregiver

Make baby’s first class musical! Our Foundations classes offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, and objects. Shared activities for babies and their caregivers provide the opportunity to strengthen your connection with your child through joyful music-making experiences. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that includes creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, your baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all of his/her senses engaged.
This Summer (2024) we present:Kindermusik Music Makes My Day & Nature Walk
First up, Music Makes My Day: If you think about it, your day-to-day routine is a lot like a piece of music. Ups, downs, repetitions, patterns, fast parts, slow parts, and lots (and lots) of improvising! Music Makes My Day focuses on daily rituals and parts of the day, and gets you thinking about anticipation, improvisation, singing, instruments, new rituals, and other ways to make your same-old routine fun and musical. Then we’ll take a Nature Walk! Let’s explore the wonders and sensations of the outdoors! We’ll use our eyes to look all around, and our ears to listen to all of the sounds we hear. Plus, we’ll touch, and smell, and move, and play! There’s no feast for the senses quite like a Kindermusik Nature Walk.
