Summer Kindermusik Classes
Welcome to Summer 2026! During the Summers we merge our class levels to Kindermusik Mixed Age classes for all ages and Kindermusik Foundations classes for babies for a fun-filled 6 week session. This is a tried and true program that makes it easy for families with more than one child to attend, since they are out of school for the Summer. Those with babies only can still come to an age specific class designed just for them. Descriptions for both are below.

Kindermusik Mixed Age – Summer
Class Length: 45 minute class with caregiver
Class Schedule: 8 week session (see calendar at bottom of page)
Our mixed-age classes are perfect for families with children of any age between newborn and 5. These classes allow infants through five-year-olds—and their caregivers—to gather together for a fun-filled learning experience. Your Kindermusik educators will help you modify movement activities, group dances, and instrument-play activities so all children can enjoy at their developmental stage. Mixed-age classes offer the perfect setting for weekly family bonding time and inspire ideas for more music exploration, play, and more fun at home. If your child isn’t yet walking, and there are no older siblings attending, we recommend our Kindermusik Foundations class.
This 8 week Summer (2026) we present:Kindermusik On the Road
Pack your bags! We’re hitting the road with the Flugelhorn family in their trusty ride, Van Go. We’ll visit their favorite destinations- the beach, the campsite, the cottage, and the fair. Along the way, we’ll fire up our imaginations and build social skills while focusing on patterns, listening, and vocal development. So buckle up for some fun, because there’s so much to do On the Road.
Kindermusik Carnival of Music
Children are natural music makers. They hum while they play, sing along with songs, and can make almost anything into a drum! In this unit, you will play lots and lots of different instruments, and also learn all about the carnival through sounds, stories, songs, and games. So, step right up—we’re off to the Carnival of Music!

Kindermusik Foundations – Summer
Class Length: 45 minute class with caregiver
Class Schedule: 8 week session (see bottom of page for calendar)
Make baby’s first class musical! Our Foundations classes offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, and objects. Shared activities for babies and their caregivers provide the opportunity to strengthen your connection with your child through joyful music-making experiences. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that includes creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, your baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all of his/her senses engaged.
This Summer (2026) we present:Kindermusik Music Makes my Day
If you think about it, your day-to-day routine is a lot like a piece of music. Ups, downs, repetitions, patterns, fast parts, slow parts, and lots (and lots) of improvising! Music Makes My Day focuses on daily rituals and parts of the day, and gets you thinking about anticipation, improvisation, singing, instruments, new rituals, and other ways to make your same-old routine fun and musical.
Kindermusik Nature Walk
Let’s explore the wonders and sensations of the outdoors! We’ll use our eyes to look all around, and our ears to listen to all of the sounds we hear. Plus, we’ll touch, and smell, and move, and play! There’s no feast for the senses quite like a Nature Walk.

Grow and Sing Studios Mixed Age – Summer Art & Book Time
Class Length: 45 minute class with caregiver
Class Schedule: 8 week session (see calendar at bottom of page)
Our music and art classes follow the same weekly theme from the On the Road / Carnival of Music Summer Kindermusik Mixed Age curriculum. Families can register for a single class or choose both art and music as a combined adult/child camp experience—they complement each other beautifully and can be scheduled on the same day or different days. You’re welcome to bring one or more children to any combination of classes.
Below is a look at our art experience for families.
These classes are designed for children and their caregivers—Summer Art is not a drop-off program.
Each week, you and your child will explore the On the Road / Carnival of Music theme through stories, songs, and hands-on art. Think road trip adventures and carnival-inspired creativity woven into every class!
During each session, your child—alongside your gentle guidance—will create two unique art projects to take home the same day. We believe the magic happens in the process, so every project is encouraged to be one-of-a-kind—something your child can truly feel proud of creating.
All projects are age-appropriate, and all materials are non-toxic. Each class also includes a themed snack and story time. Class fees include tuition, all art materials, and a weekly snack.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN CLASS
Our art classes are fully interactive, parent-and-child experiences from beginning to end.
We begin with a hello song (just like in our music classes), followed by a fun musical activity that introduces the theme of the week. Your educator will then present the two art projects for the day.
Projects may include painting ceramics, sand art, fabric decorating, stickers, painting, and more—each class offers something a little different! Activities are designed for a wide age range (approximately 2 to 8 years and beyond), and both projects are completed during class and taken home that day.
After creating, we wash hands and gather for snack time, where children and adults enjoy a themed story together. We close each class with a goodbye song.
We embrace a “process over performance” philosophy, encouraging children to create at their own developmental stage. Classes are held on the floor, allowing children the freedom to move comfortably and engage fully.
