Summer session calendar: Week 1: June 10 - 13 Kindermusik Adventures provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that includes creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, your baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all of his/her senses engaged. Set your baby's day to classical music. With a little more Tchaikovsky in your "Twinkle, Twinkle" repertoire discover new ways baby benefits from the classics as you develop an appreciation for the world's most respected music. Each lesson features new activities and songs that the parent can sing for all the places baby and mom go together—the store, the playground, the doctor, and more. __________________________________________________ Kindermusik Sign & Sing is a research-proven program based on methods shown to speed language development in hearing children, ease frustration, and enhance long-term learning abilities.
The five-session class gives parents the tools to learn more than 50 American Sign Language signs for children ages 3 months to 3 years. At Home Materials include a set of clip-on flashcards, a booklet of activities for parents and their children to learn and play with at home, and a DVD glossary that features adults using sign language. Young Children and trains make a natural match—always on the move. Tag along this summer with a traveling zoo train. Bring your own stuffed animals for the petting zoo. Wear long white socks on your hands for polar bear paws and learn about real animals in the zoo. Sing songs for clapping time, and use music to help your child regulate emotions.
Take a ride on the Zoo Train! Glide with giraffes, gallop with zebras, swim with seals, prowl with lions, swing with monkeys, waddle with penguins, and - finally - relax at the petting zoo. Home Materials: Zoo Train book, Home CD, animal shaker instrument, and poster. A sibling set is available for more than 1 child for an additional cost. During each class your child will create TWO unique art projects to bring home. All projects are age appropriate, and materials are non-toxic.
